Yes.....it's really me!

Well, hello there!

Good gracious!  I can't keep my blog up to save my life----just so much going on still!!   But, I'm about to make a commitment to keep it up.  I just want to re-structure it a bit differently!  I want it to have more of my photo albums for family and friends, a little of what's going on with my photography, and of course...any shout outs for the digi design part of my life!!

So, hang in there & I'll be up and running again soon!!!

In the mean while, you can check me out HERE.  I finally got a somewhat complete website up!  I'm hoping to change it a bit to suite my style and to add some custom cards, etc.   Anyway....it's fun!

Yeee Haaaw!

The kids & I are off to Texas tomorrow for two weeks--- first stop-Mom's in Dallas, then a little trip to Houston, then Dad's in Ft. Worth & sometime in there I'm hoping to see my sweet sweet friends!!!

hello hello hello

Yep, I'm still here.  Good gracious, where do I start?  Well, the snow/ice is melting & I can see our yard now---whoo hoo!  We had some rain/snow mix yesterday that was discouraging, but can completely tell that spring is so close to being here!!

I just may change my blog up a bit------  Structure it differently as to what's going on with the family & I just a Little more.  It's been a busy 7 1/2 months getting settled here!!

OK-- have to show some photos----super cute!!  This is Meg.  She's a kindergartner in Reece's class.  He definitely has puppy love---with her!!  LOL!  Who knew my little serious guy who never new girls existed (except for his wild sister) would have a little crush in kindergarten.   Anyway--- I was entering a photo contest to win a seat at Skye Hardwick's workshop.  The assignment was to find a girl between the ages 5 - 8 & curl her hair & have her in red lipstick (Sky's signature look).  So, this is what we came up with..

 

She loved the chance to put that red lipstick on!!  She's such a cutie!  Reece about fell over when she was ready for photos!!  Ahh to be a kindergartner again!

And, oh my..... check out the training wheels for dirt-bikes!  Then there's Craig, the wheelie-popper!  And, sweet Macy just trying to keep herself occupied in the puddles.

Oh--- I've resigned from the very sweet Shabby Miss Jenn's design team since there's just too much going on & don't want to be a slacker for her!  But, 'Sweets,' it's been such a JOY to be on your team and work with such a talented group!  Thanks for the opportunity! Love you!!

Here's a page I did of my friend's brother & his fiance.  Curt & Meghan.  I took some photos of them before getting married in TX at Texas A&M.  They got married early Jan.

I used some new goods by SMJ called Love Shack and used her new new alphas and her trashed papers.  Fun!

I also picked up a colab. kit from ScrapArtist called Painted Love which I used for the blog banner.  AND got this super sweet kit called Everyday Love at SA as well by Two Sisters Designs who are moving to a new location---so go to Emily's blog if you want to purchase it.

Other than that??  Hmmmm.....just been so busy & have some things in the works at the moment.

I'm going to post some family photos & photos of the house projects over at the family blog.

Well, it looks as though I completely skipped the month of January!  How did time get away from me for so long??

I decided to get rid of my birds on my banner--- they're no longer singing my joyful noise!!  LOL!  I'll just have to sing now!

Slacker!

Goodness-- not keeping up very well, huh?  And, as you can see---my banner is still celebrating Halloween!  That's on my to-do list!

Yep, it's my little Macy, crazy as usual!  She's in our bathtub--a 100 yr. old claw-foot tub.  Believe me, this bathroom looks best in black and white!!  There are only a select few who have seen what the floor looks like in color!!  LOL!
